
Head coach Felisha Legette-Jack continues to build her 2026-2027 roster through the portal.
The Syracuse women's basketball program has added a third player to the roster from the transfer portal this spring. Head coach Felisha Legette-Jack and the Orange officially announced the signing of Jaleesa Molina on Wednesday.
Who is Jalessa Molina?
A 6'3' forward, Molina has spent the past three seasons as a member of the Temple Owls of the American Athletic Conference.
In the 2025-26 season, Molina played in 31 games and started in 30. The junior averaged 9.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game, including nine double-doubles.

Molina joins two other transfer additions
Molina joins Sarah Rambus and Tyi Skinner as the other recent transfer portal additions to the roster.
Rambus spent the past three seasons as a member of the Oregon Ducks. Over the course of her career, Rambus has seen in action in 100 games. She played in 36 games in 25-26, starting 17. She averaged 6.3 points and 2.4 rebounds per contest. The Michigan native has one year of eligibility of remaining in her collegiate career.
A graduate transfer, Skinner joins Syracuse after stints at Delaware, Arizona State, and SMU. A 5'5' guard, Skinner has gained both All Pac-12 and All Big-12 honors in her career.
Skinner will also have just one year of eligibility remaining.
Rookies joining the roster
Earlier this week, the Orange announced the signing of Destiny Robinson to the roster. The 6'0' incoming Orange player played for St. Mary's College Prep in Manhasset, N.Y., this past season.
Robinson joins Madison Howard as the two only committed recruits announced in the class of 2030.
Howard announced her commitment to Syracuse in November 2025.
A 5'8' guard from Bronx, N.Y., Howard played her high school basketball at Monsignor Scanlon.
Plus the return of Uche Izoje
Uche Izoje was named the ACC's Rookie of the Year after averaging 15.6 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Izoje led Syracuse in points, rebounds and blocks and helped the Orange qualify for the NCAA tournament. Izoje has been playing as a member of Team Nigeria against WNBA teams this month.
Syracuse finished in a tie for fifth place in the ACC this past season, winning a game in the NCAA Tournament before being eliminated in the Round of 32.
