Let's look at how the coaching staff is taking shape under first-year head coach Gerry McNamara, who was hired in late March.
On Thursday morning, the Syracuse men's basketball program announced Ryan Beaury as the team's director of basketball operations. Beaury is the fourth person who has joined Gerry McNamara's staff that also worked with him in his previous coaching spot (Siena).
So, after all the shuffling, what exactly does staff look like now?
Here's what you need to know.
Head coach: Gerry McNamara
After two seasons at Siena that included a MAAC championship and an almost historic upset as a No. 16 seed in the NCAA tournament, McNamara accepted the opening as the new Syracuse head coach after the firing of Adrian Autry.
McNamara was a player from 2002-06 and an assistant on the coaching staff for Syracuse from 2009-24.
The Orange went 15-17 under Autry this past season. They have failed to make the NCAA Tournament in each of the last five seasons.

Arinze Onauku
Onuaku was a five-year member of the Syracuse program from 2005-2010. A four-time Big East Conference All-Academic Team selection, Onuaku helped lead the Orange to two Sweet 16 appearances.
Onuaku joined the Siena staff under McNamara in 2024. He was previously coaching in the professional ranks, as he served as an assistant for the Capital City Go-Gos, a G-League affiliate of the Washington Wizards.
Ben Lee
The 29-year-old joins McNamara's staff after two years in Siena. A Long Island native, Lee was also an assistant coach at the University of Washington. At Washington, he worked with former Syracuse player and assistant coach Mike Hopkins.
Ryan Daly
Daly's collegiate coaching career includes stops at Bryant, VCU, and Albany. A former college basketball player at both Delaware and St. Joseph's, Daly's experience is expected to be a strong foundation for the Orange's staff.
Jamal Brunt
In a decade with the Richmond Spiders, Brunt served in a variety of roles, including director of basketball operations, assistant head coach and associate head coach.
Brunt's coaching resume also includes stints at VCU, Miami (FL) and most recently Penn State.

Associate Athletics director of men’s basketball and operations - Peter Corasaniti
The 2014 Syracuse graduate has spent the past seven years as the Orange's director of men's basketball operations before shifting to this new role this year.
Director of Operations - Ryan Beaury
After two seasons serving in the same role for McNamara at Siena, Beaury returns to Central New York.
Beaury's father, Brian Beaury, is the only member of McNamara's staff at Siena who has not joined him in Central New York. Brian Beaury served as a special assistant on Siena's staff the last two seasons and remains on staff there for now.
Director of Engagement - Ryan Blackwell
Blackwell has connections to both the high school and college levels in Central New York. Before being hired by McNamara at Siena, Blackwell had served as the Liverpool High School (Syracuse, N.Y.) coach for nine seasons.
As a player, Blackwell spent four seasons with Syracuse from 1996-2000.
In his three seasons for Syracuse, Blackwell started all 100 games and scored over 1,000 points.
