The Orange routed the Dragons by 30 points on Saturday afternoon, and while Kiyan Anthony led the way with 18 points, head coach Adrian Autry was quick to point out the contributions of the 'juicing station.'

The Syracuse University men's basketball team rolled over Drexel on Saturday afternoon in Philadelphia, winning by a score of 80-50. It was another dominant win for the Orange, who stifled the Drexel offense in moving to 3-0. Syracuse has won each game this season by 30 or more points and they haven't allowed more than 50 in any game yet. After going 14-19 a season ago, the Orange look poised for a major turnaround in 2025-26.

Freshman Kiyan Anthony had a team-high 18 points in the win and William Kyle III pulled down 10 rebounds, but head coach Adrian Autry praised a different group of players afterwards: The 'juicing station.'

The 'juicing station' is Autry's nickname for the bench, which outscored the Dragons 21-11.

"You know, we talk about playing with energy, and a level five energy and intensity, and when we got this team together, we knew we were talented. We knew we could play 9-10 guys. So the bench is what we call our juicing station. Right? Those guys are in it. They're waiting for us. They're waiting to get in. Right? They provide energy. They got the juice, and once they get in the game, they bring the juice. And I thought the first half, we didn't do that. I thought the second half, our juicing station, they came in and really set the tone."

To Autry's point, the second-half was dominant for the Orange, who outscored Drexel 43-18 over the final 20 minutes. For the game, they held the Dragons to just 32 percent from the floor and 26 percent from the three-point range. The defense continues to be tenacious.

But back to the 'juicing station:' Did you know that it has a captain and a leader? Well, it does: Sophomore and Syracuse native Noah Lobdell.

"We've got a bench captain. That's Noah Lobdell," Autry said. He's the guy that is making sure everyone is bringing the energy and bringing the juice. It's a big job. It's a big responsibility. Somepeople may say it's not, but it really is. It's a big job, and we're serious about it now and that's the thing that he does. And that's his role, and he does a really good job of it."

Lobdell has not played in a game this season but he did see limited action a season ago.

The Orange will be back in action on Tuesday night at the JMA Wireless Dome against Monmouth. Tip-off is 9 p.m. ET. Our own Tom Goslowski will be there in person. Follow him on on 'X' @TomGozz.
