TCU women’s golf shoots 2-under in final round to tie for sixth, topping three ranked teams at the Chevron Collegiate in Houston.

TCU hung around at the Chevron Collegiate and made a statement late - when it mattered most.

With NCAA Tournament positioning quietly on the line, the Horned Frogs fired a two-under 286 in the final round at the Golf Club of Houston to climb into a tie for sixth at 1-over (865).

The late push allowed TCU to finish alongside No. 6 Arkansas and ahead of three ranked programs in No. 11 Mississippi State, No. 32 Houston and No. 39 Indiana.

Head coach Angie Larkin praised her team’s discipline in tricky conditions, and it showed.

Three Frogs posted 1-under 71s in the closing round, led by All-American Camille Min-Gaultier. She finished tied for 11th at 2-under 214 (70-73-71), marking her 10th consecutive top-20 finish dating back to last spring.

It was also her 30th career round at par or better - consistency that anchors this lineup.

Kirstin Angosta matched Min-Gaultier’s 71 and surged 11 spots up the leaderboard to tie for 20th at even par (216).

Sofie Dimitrova made the biggest jump of the day, vaulting from a tie for 41st into a tie for 28th after her closing 71 put her at 1-over (217).

Freshman Yvette O’Brien delivered her best score of the week with a 73, while senior Sofia Barroso Sa added three birdies in the final round to move into second place on TCU’s all-time career birdies list with 358.

In a field loaded with top-50 teams, TCU proved it can compete deep into Sunday.

Next up: the Betsy Rawls Invitational in Austin, followed by the Horned Frogs hosting the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational at Colonial.

If this final-round surge is any indication, TCU women’s golf is building momentum at the right time.
