TCU hosts Stanford in an NCAA Super Regional showdown as the Horned Frogs chase a seventh straight quarterfinal berth.

TCU men’s tennis gets another postseason heavyweight test Saturday, and this one has real final-site energy.

The sixth-seeded Horned Frogs host No. 18 Stanford at 1 p.m. at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center with a spot in the NCAA quarterfinals on the line.

TCU enters 23-5 and ranked No. 2 nationally, despite carrying the No. 6 seed in the tournament. David Roditi’s team has been scorching since the season moved outdoors, winning 10 straight matches and 15 of its last 16.

Even more impressive, the Horned Frogs haven’t dropped a singles match during the current winning streak, and their last four team victories have all been shutouts.

Stanford won’t be intimidated.

The Cardinal are 19-8, have won seven of their last nine and just knocked off No. 10 Texas A&M to reach Fort Worth.

Stanford also owns a win over defending NCAA champion Wake Forest, so TCU isn’t getting a soft landing here.

Still, history and home court lean heavily toward the Frogs. TCU has won 32 straight home outdoor matches and 26 consecutive NCAA Tournament matches at home.

Under Roditi, the Horned Frogs have never lost a postseason match on their purple courts.

The matchup also continues a familiar rivalry.

TCU is 9-3 all-time against Stanford and has won eight straight in the series, including two shutouts during the 2025 indoor season.

Duncan Chan gives TCU star power at No. 8 in the ITA singles rankings, while Cosme Rolland De Ravel sits No. 42, Cooper Woestendick No. 55 and Julian Alonso No. 108. Chan and Rolland De Ravel also form the nation’s No. 4 doubles team.

Win Saturday, and TCU moves on to face either Ohio State or Illinois in Athens, Georgia. Another quarterfinal trip is right there. Now the Frogs have to take it.
