TCU freshman Miloš Šojić brings international buzz to Fort Worth after earning a Serbian U20 roster spot for the FIBA European Championship in Slovenia.
FORT WORTH - TCU basketball is getting an early summer look at one of its most intriguing new pieces, and it’s happening on an international stage.
Freshman forward Miloš Šojić has been selected to Serbia’s U20 National Team for the 2026 FIBA U20 European Championship, giving Horned Frogs fans a real reason to keep tabs on the action in Ljubljana, Slovenia from July 11-19.

For a young player trying to make noise before his first season in Fort Worth, this is a big-time opportunity.
Šojić isn’t some unknown project quietly walking onto campus. The 6-10 forward from Belgrade has already built a strong international resume, previously representing Serbia at the U16, U18 and U19 levels.
That kind of background matters. It means he’s been tested against elite competition, understands high-pressure basketball and has already carried expectations while wearing his country’s jersey.
Playing for KK Beko Belgrade in the Serbian 2nd League, Šojić averaged 18.6 points, 11.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game this past season.
For TCU, the upside is obvious.
Šojić gives the Horned Frogs a skilled frontcourt piece with length, scoring touch and rebounding toughness. The assist number is especially interesting because it hints at a forward who can do more than finish plays. He can help create them.
Serbia opens pool play against Poland on July 11, and every game gives TCU fans another glimpse at how Šojić handles physical, tournament-style basketball.
The Horned Frogs don’t need him to be a finished product right away, but this summer could accelerate his timeline. If Šojić flashes against Europe’s best young talent, the buzz around his arrival in Fort Worth will only get louder.
