TCU men’s golf opens its 2026-27 season in Japan before hosting a powerhouse Ben Hogan Invitational field at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth.

TCU men’s golf won’t ease into the 2026-27 season. The Horned Frogs are starting on the other side of the world before returning to Fort Worth to host one of the most stacked tournaments in college golf.

Bill Allcorn’s fourth season as TCU head coach begins Sept. 2-4 at the Super League Tournament in Shizuoka, Japan.

The international event at Grand Fields Country Club will feature programs from the United States and abroad, giving the Frogs an immediate test in unfamiliar territory.

TCU will return to the United States for the Bearcat Invitational on Sept. 14-15 in Cincinnati before the schedule gets seriously heavy.

The Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational returns to Colonial Country Club on Sept. 28-29, and the field looks more like an NCAA Championship preview than a regular-season tournament.

Seven of the eight teams that reached match play at the 2026 NCAA Championships are scheduled to compete.

The 16-team lineup includes Alabama, Arizona State, Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Pepperdine, Stanford, Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Virginia and host TCU.

The Horned Frogs will also return to the Big 12 Match Play Tournament after the event took a one-year break.

Every conference program will compete Oct. 12-14 at Salt Lake City Country Club in Utah.

TCU’s fall concludes Oct. 26-28 at the Ka’anapali Classic in Maui. The Frogs finished second there last season, meaning the trip to Hawaii will come with unfinished business attached.

The spring schedule opens Feb. 7-9 at the Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico. TCU will also return to the Watersound Invitational, The Goodwin and the Mountaineer Invitational while adding the Black Desert Collegiate in Ivins, Utah.

The Big 12 Championship moves to The Covey at Big Easy Ranch in Columbus, Texas, on April 26-28.

NCAA regional competition follows May 17-19, with the national championship set for May 28 through June 2 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.

TCU has experience coming back, returning seven players from last season’s roster. That group includes Udovich, who earned All-Big 12 and All-Region honors as a freshman, along with Nathan Miller, Hudson Wilt, Toby Wilt and Charlie Wylie.

Newcomers Blake Brown and Cameron Kuchar will join a roster facing immediate expectations.

From Japan to Colonial, Maui, Puerto Rico and California, TCU has built a schedule with almost nowhere to hide. The Frogs wanted a national-level test.

They’re getting one.
