TCU guard Taylor Bigby became the Horned Frogs’ third 2026 WNBA Draft pick after going No. 37 overall, capping a historic night for the program.

Taylor Bigby added another headline to TCU women’s basketball’s unforgettable 2026 WNBA Draft night, giving the Horned Frogs a third selection and even more proof that the program has become a pipeline to the pros.

The 6-1 guard was taken with the No. 37 overall pick in the third round by the Portland Fire, one of the WNBA’s newest expansion teams, before her rights were moved to the Connecticut Sun.

Bigby’s selection put TCU in rare company, as the Horned Frogs joined a small group of powerhouse programs to produce at least three draft picks in this year’s class.

It was a fitting finish for a player who kept raising her level late in her college career.

After stops at Oregon and USC, Bigby found her stride in Fort Worth, helping TCU stack wins, championships, and deep NCAA Tournament runs.

Across her two seasons with the Horned Frogs, she was part of a dominant 66-10 stretch that included three Big 12 titles and back-to-back Elite Eight appearances.

Bigby’s final season showed why WNBA teams were interested. She averaged 8.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting 44 percent from the floor and 38.9 percent from 3-point range, the best mark among TCU’s regular rotation players.

When the lights got brighter, she delivered. In the NCAA Tournament, she exploded for a career-high 27 points against UC San Diego, burying seven of her nine shots from beyond the arc, then followed it up with 15 more in an overtime win over Washington.

Her rise hasn’t gone unnoticed beyond college basketball, either. Bigby also earned opportunities with USA Basketball in 3x3 competition, adding international experience to an already impressive résumé.

For TCU, her draft call was more than a personal milestone. It was another sign the Horned Frogs are building something real.
