TCU’s Olivia Miles earns Big 12 Player of the Year and Newcomer honors after a historic season filled with triple-doubles and record-breaking stats.

The TCU women’s basketball program just witnessed one of the most remarkable individual seasons in conference history, and the Big 12 made sure to recognize it.

Olivia Miles, the senior guard who powered the Horned Frogs throughout the year, was named Big 12 Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year, cementing her place among the conference’s all-time greats.

Miles didn’t just dominate ... she rewrote the record books.

The dynamic TCU playmaker finished the season tied with former Baylor Bear Brittney Griner and Kansas State star Shalee Lehning for the most career triple-doubles in Big 12 history.

She recorded five triple-doubles during the season alone, tying Caitlin Clark for the third-most in a single season in NCAA women’s basketball history.

But Miles’ impact extended far beyond a few stat-sheet explosions.

She also crossed the 2,000-point career milestone, joining an extremely exclusive group of just four players in NCAA history to reach 2,000 points, 800 rebounds, and 800 assists.

That combination of scoring, rebounding, and playmaking highlights exactly why the Horned Frogs relied on her to lead the program.

Her leadership helped push TCU women’s basketball back to the top of the Big 12 standings, solidifying the Horned Frogs as one of the conference’s most dangerous teams heading into postseason play.

While Miles stole the spotlight for TCU, several other stars across the league also received major recognition.

Texas Tech head coach Krista Gerlich earned Big 12 Coach of the Year, while Red Raiders guard Snudda Collins was named Sixth Player of the Year.

Kansas freshman Jaliya Davis took home Freshman of the Year honors after averaging 21 points per game, the highest scoring average among freshmen in the country.

Meanwhile, West Virginia’s Jordan Harrison secured Defensive Player of the Year, leading the conference with 3.24 steals per game and helping the Mountaineers finish second in the league.

For TCU, though, the story of the season belongs to Olivia Miles ... a player whose historic performance has already become part of Big 12 lore.
