TCU is back at home to close out its non-conference schedule against Arkansas State in a 7 p.m. matchup from Amon G. Carter Stadium.
TCU is able to stay home for the second straight weekend after opening the season outside of the United States in Ireland.
And Fort Worth has been beneficial for the Horned Frogs in their lone matchup this year, as TCU routed Grambling State 63-7 this past Saturday.
The Horned Frogs continued to shine on defense by surrendering a single score to the Tigers following an identical performance in the 15-10 loss to North Carolina in the opener.
The offense was finally able to follow in its footsteps, as quarterback Jaden Craig came alive in his first-ever start in Fort Worth.
He lit up the Grambling defense to the tune of nearly 400 passing yards and four touchdowns through the air in a pivotal spark for TCU's offensive output.
Heading back into Amon G. Carter Stadium, TCU will be aiming for nothing less than a repeat result in its final test before beginning the Big 12 gauntlet.
Arkansas State serves as the latest visitor to Fort Worth and the RedWolves are trying to string together back-to-back wins of their own.
Led by head coach Butch Jones, Arkansas State is fresh off a 52-7 drubbing of West Georgia after falling to Memphis 42-24 in its debut.
In that recent victory, the RedWolves put up nearly 400 yards of total offense and saw seven different players score a touchdown across offense and defense.
However, history sides with the Horned Frogs, as they tout a perfect 2-0 record against Arkansas State in the all-time series between the two programs.
That last meeting came all the way back in 2000, which saw TCU legend LaDanian Tomlinson rush for just shy of 150 yards on the RedWolves in a 52-3 crusher.
TCU looked like a far cry from the team that was bullied by North Carolina to open the season in its latest outing.
But with only a one-game sample size to combat that initial showing, it is crucial that TCU continues to be impressive in its closer to the non-conference slate.
With a sold-out crowd in attendance for Family Weekend at TCU, the Horned Frogs will have a prime opportunity to prove what it is capable of against Arkansas State and head into Big 12 play in the best possible position.
