TCU women’s basketball will defend its Big 12 crown with Baylor, West Virginia, Texas Tech and Colorado visiting Schollmaier Arena.
TCU women’s basketball isn’t getting a soft landing after back-to-back Big 12 titles. The Horned Frogs are getting a schedule built for a champion.
The Big 12 released its 2026-27 conference schedule matrix, and Mark Campbell’s program will host a loaded home slate at Schollmaier Arena.
Baylor, West Virginia, Texas Tech and Colorado are all headed to Fort Worth, giving TCU fans a front-row seat to some of the league’s biggest tests as the Frogs try to protect their place at the top of the conference.
That’s exactly where this program lives now.
TCU is coming off a 32-6 season, a second straight outright Big 12 regular-season championship and another Elite Eight run.
The Horned Frogs finished No. 6 nationally in both the AP and coaches polls, and they’ve become the Big 12’s most consistent March threat under Campbell.
Now the target gets bigger.
TCU will play home-and-home series against Baylor, Houston and West Virginia.
That means the Frogs will see the Bears and Mountaineers twice after both finished right behind TCU in last season’s conference standings. Baylor always brings juice.
West Virginia brings toughness. Houston gives the Frogs an in-state series with extra bite.
The home-only schedule is strong, too. BYU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Texas Tech, UCF and Utah will all visit Schollmaier Arena.
Colorado and Texas Tech reached the NCAA Tournament last season, so those won’t be sleepy winter dates.
They’ll be measuring-stick games for a TCU team trying to prove its championship standard is built to last.
The road-only matchups send the Frogs to Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and Oklahoma State.
That’s a tough travel draw, especially with the Arizona swing now part of life in the expanded Big 12. But that’s the price of being in a conference that keeps stretching its map and raising its ceiling.
Campbell has turned TCU into more than a good story. Since 2023-24, the Horned Frogs lead the Big 12 in total wins with 87, winning percentage at .798 and WNBA draft picks with five.
They’re also the only Big 12 team to reach the second weekend of the NCAA Tournament twice during that span.

That’s not luck. That’s a takeover.
The full schedule with tip times and TV information will arrive in the fall. But the message is already clear. TCU is the hunted now. And Schollmaier Arena is about to be loud.
