TCU women’s golf closes its regular season in Dallas at the Huntington Bank Collegiate, with Camille Min-Gaultier leading the Horned Frogs into a loaded field.

FORT WORTH - TCU women’s golf is heading back to Dallas for one of its biggest regular-season tests, and the timing couldn’t be better.

The Horned Frogs open play Monday at the Huntington Bank Collegiate at Trinity Forest Golf Club, a 54-hole event hosted by SMU that serves as TCU’s final tune-up before the Big 12 Championship later this month.

This Texas golf tournament should offer a real measuring stick. TCU enters the week ranked No. 41, and the field is stacked with nationally ranked programs including No. 13 UCF, No. 15 UCLA, No. 18 Tennessee, No. 24 Oklahoma, No. 25 Arizona, No. 27 Oklahoma State, No. 30 SMU, No. 32 Houston and No. 50 Texas Tech. Trinity Forest adds another layer of difficulty with its links-style layout, and last year no team finished under par.

Camille Min-Gaultier remains the headline name for TCU women’s golf.

The sophomore will play from the top spot in the lineup again after competing at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur this week.

She leads the Horned Frogs in scoring average at 71.8, birdies with 77, top-10 finishes with six and top-20 finishes with eight, making her the clear tone-setter for Angie Ravaioli-Larkin’s lineup.

Kirstin Angosta gives TCU another reliable option after pacing the team at its last event, tying for 17th at the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate.

The full TCU lineup also includes Sofie Dimitrova, Gracie McGovern and Yvette O’Brien, a group that has helped the program continue one of its strongest stretches in recent history.

TCU’s longtime coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin has guided the Horned Frogs to 21 team titles and NCAA Tournament appearances in 28 of 31 eligible seasons.

The format will be demanding, too. Teams are scheduled to play 36 continuous holes on Monday before the final round on Tuesday, so depth and consistency will matter right away.

For TCU, this week is about more than one tournament. It’s about sharpening the lineup before postseason golf begins.
