TCU stars Sofia Barroso Sá, Sofie Dimitrova and Camille Min-Gaultier earned WGCA Scholar honors after pairing elite grades with major results on the course too.
TCU women’s golf didn’t just produce another postseason team in 2025-26, the Horned Frogs also delivered a reminder that their best players can dominate scorecards without sacrificing the classroom.
Sofia Barroso Sá, Sofie Dimitrova and Camille Min-Gaultier were named Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars, one of the toughest academic honors available in college golf.
Players must carry a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 while competing in 50 percent or more of their team’s scheduled rounds.
In other words, this isn’t an award for sitting safely in the clubhouse with a textbook. Athletes have to perform academically while remaining a major part of the lineup.
Min-Gaultier has already built the resume of a future TCU legend.
The rising junior owns a 3.83 GPA while studying strategic communication and has become one of the program’s most dangerous players.
She earned All-American recognition in 2025-26, landed on the All-Big 12 first team for the second time and finished the season ranked No. 66 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.
Her numbers are just as loud.
Min-Gaultier ranks second in TCU history with a 72.15 career scoring average. She’s also fifth in career par-or-better rounds with 34 and fifth with 15 rounds below 70.
She led the Horned Frogs in every major statistical category last season while collecting six top-10 finishes.
Dimitrova, a psychology major with a 3.76 GPA, earned WGCA Scholar recognition for the second time. The incoming senior competed in 11 of TCU’s 12 tournaments last season and has made 20 career starts.
She contributed 25 counting rounds, the third-highest total on the roster, and produced a career-best 71 birdies.
Barroso Sá closed her TCU career in May with an economics degree and a 3.50 GPA. The Portugal native made 46 career starts, qualified twice for the NCAA Championships and earned Big 12 Championship all-tournament honors during two different seasons.
She leaves Fort Worth ranked second in program history with 369 birdies.
Barroso Sá also sits third in par-or-better rounds with 48, fourth in scoring average at 73.05 and fourth with 16 sub-70 rounds.
The three selections gave head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin multiple WGCA Scholars for the 12th time in 13 seasons.
Barroso Sá also became the 47th player to earn the distinction during Ravaioli-Larkin’s 32-year tenure.
TCU reached the NCAA Tournament for the 29th time under its longtime coach and extended its postseason streak to 24 consecutive seasons.
The Frogs keep winning tournaments, producing elite players and collecting academic awards.
At this point, excellence isn’t a surprise in Fort Worth. It’s the standard.
