Miles dominates, rewriting point guard history with unprecedented all-around stats and record-breaking triple-doubles, solidifying her elite status.

Another milestone, another national spotlight moment for Olivia Miles.

The TCU standout was named a midseason top-10 candidate for the prestigious Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award, placing her firmly among the elite floor generals in women’s college basketball.

It’s the third straight season Miles has appeared on the award’s midseason radar, a level of consistency few players at any position can claim.

For the Horned Frogs, the recognition continues a growing tradition of elite guard play. TCU has now produced Lieberman Award midseason candidates in back-to-back seasons, following Hailey Van Lith’s appearance on last year’s watch list.

This time, however, Miles stands alone as the only Big 12 player to crack the top 10.

What separates Miles isn’t just production, it’s the breadth of it. Through 23 games in the 2025-26 season, the 5-10 guard is flirting with territory no NCAA player, men’s or women’s, has ever reached.

She’s on pace to average at least 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 50 percent from the field.

Miles ranks sixth nationally in assists per game (7.0) and total assists (161), while her scoring has climbed even higher in conference play. She’s averaging 19.6 points per game in Big 12 action and has led TCU in scoring in 10 of its 11 league contests, seamlessly blending playmaking with takeover ability.

Miles leads the nation with four triple-doubles this season and owns NCAA career records in triple-doubles (10), assists per game (6.6), and 15-5-5 performances (37). In December alone, she authored a five-game stretch that produced four triple-doubles, joining Sabrina Ionescu as the only players in NCAA history to accomplish that feat in a single month.

Her milestone moments keep stacking up. On Jan. 24, Miles delivered her 800th career assist in a road win at UCF, becoming just the sixth women’s player ever to reach 1,500 points, 800 assists, and 700 rebounds in a career. Days later, she logged her NCAA-leading 50th career 15-point, five-assist game against Kansas.

The Lieberman Award field will be trimmed to five finalists in mid-March, with the winner announced ahead of the 2026 Women’s Final Four in Phoenix.

Fan voting begins Feb. 6, and if Miles’ season is any indication, her case is already speaking loudly.
