After winning a series against a top-five Texas team last weekend, No. 24 Tennessee concludes its regular-season home slate on Tuesday evening against Belmont with first pitch slated for 5 p.m. at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Bruins will be the fifth in-state foe that the Volunteers have taken on in midweek action this season. UT is 4-0 in those previous matchups against fellow Volunteer State opponents with victories over ETSU, Tennessee Tech, Austin Peay and Lipscomb.

NOTABLE

Looking to Finish Midweek Slate UnbeatenTennessee is a perfect 13-0 in midweeks games this season. In those 13 wins, UT has outscored its opposition 141-32. A win on Tuesday would mark the Vols' first season with an undefeated record in midweek games since at least 2000. The Big Orange have been dominant in midweek games since Elander joined the staff in 2018, having compiled an 90-11 record in such contests during that span.

One More for 100

The Vols enter this week with 99 home runs and will reach the century mark for the fifth straight year with one more long ball, making them the first SEC program to ever hit 100 or more homers in five consecutive seasons.

UT has had a major power surge over the past month, blasting 42 home runs over their last 15 games entering the final week of the regular season.

Tennessee has hit multiple round trippers in 10 of its last 15 games, including eight games with three or more homers in that stretch. The Big Orange blasted a season-high six long balls in wins over No. 4 Texas on May 9 and No. 25 Ole Miss on April 19.
