Tennessee cruised to a 13–4 midweek win over in-state foe Austin Peay on Tuesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Vols' bats got hot early, plating 10 runs over the first three innings.

Garrett Wright had three hits, including a home run, and drove in three runs. Henry Ford had two hits, one of which was a homer. Manny Marin and Blake Grimmer also had a pair of hits.  Levi Clark and Tyler Myatt also belted a long ball.

Tennessee used eight different pitchers, trying to get as many as possible some work. Mark Hindy earned the win in a little more than an inning.

The Vols will be back inside Lindsey Nelson Stadium this weekend as they host the LSU Tigers for a three-game set. First pitch for the series opener is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Friday on the SEC Network.
