Talaysia Cooper, a mainstay of the Tennessee women's basketball program the past two seasons, will enter the transfer portal.
Cooper averaged 16 points, 3.6 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 steals this past season. She becomes the seventh player to enter the portal. The Lady Vols also lost four players to graduation.
Only freshman Jada Civil remains on the roster.
Cooper and coach Kim Caldwell had issues in the second half of Tennessee's SEC Tournament loss to Alabama. She was benched at the 6:27 mark of the third quarter and didn't play the rest of the game.
"We just wanted to give her some air," Caldwell said at the time. "I think you get your emotions running and we just wanted to get her outside and with a staff member so she could breathe."
