Tennessee third baseman Henry Ford was named to the 2026 Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List, USA Baseball announced.

Ford has been the Volunteers' most consistent hitter this season, leading the team with a 1.024 OPS, 38 hits, 10 home runs, 30 RBIs, 74 total bases and a .638 slugging percentage in 27 games.

The junior transfer from Virginia also leads the Big Orange with three homers and eight RBIs in conference play. Ford is one of 16 players from the SEC on the midseason watch list, which leads all conferences.

The Golden Spikes Award is presented annually to the country's top amateur baseball player and is widely considered the most prestigious honor in amateur baseball.
