Tennessee sophomore Blaine Brown was one of 49 players tabbed to the 2026 John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Watch List, which was announced on Wednesday afternoon by the College Baseball Foundation.

Presented since 2010, the award is named after former Washington State University standout John Olerud, who achieved success both as a first baseman and left-handed pitcher during the late 1980s before a 17-year Major League career. He was inducted into the National College Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007.

Brown has been one of the Vols' most productive players so far this season, leading the team with 13 RBIs through 12 games. The Houston native boasts a 1.037 OPS and is also tied for the team lead with five doubles and four home runs.

On the mound, Brown has made three midweek starts and has posted scoreless outings in two of those three appearances.
