Aggies dominate Under Armour week, showcasing committed stars and reeling in top targets. Elko's staff ignites pursuit of the nation's No. 1 2027 recruiting class.

Texas A&M isn't just "in the mix" at this year's Under Armour All-America week; the Aggies are everywhere.

Between committed blue-chips showing out in practice and multiple five-star targets openly talking up College Station, On3's Steve Wiltfong reports that Mike Elko's staff is making noise in Orlando as it pushes for a Rivals Industry top-ranked 2027 haul.

The headliner among current commits is safety Kamarui Dorsey, a tone-setting defender who looked every bit like the kind of SEC eraser you build a class around.

Evaluators raved about his physicality in coverage, his ability to reroute receivers at the line, and the speed to recover downfield. Dorsey didn't just hold up in space - he also looked comfortable playing downhill, popping in the box, and finishing through contact.

Dorsey arrived wearing Texas A&M jewelry and looked locked in despite heavy pressure from national powers.

Cornerback Raylaun Henry didn't exactly calm the waters for other programs either. The Rivals top-10 corner said he's "150 percent locked in," doubling down on his early pledge and calling A&M "home." For a class trying to stack elite defensive backs, that's the kind of confidence you can build momentum around.

At quarterback, Jayce Johnson flashed the raw tools that make him such a coveted piece with size, arm strength, and upside. The best part is he's still developing, and he admitted staff movement gave him something to think about. But the tone stayed clear. He feels strong ties to the Aggies and continues to invest time in College Station. And that's just the commit side.

Texas A&M also appears to be setting the pace for a handful of major targets, starting with the No. 1 overall prospect, five-star corner John Meredith, who has the Aggies neck-and-neck with Alabama.

Five-star edge Zyron Forstall went even further, calling Texas A&M the team "probably sitting at the top," praising communication, consistency, and the staff's development pitch - including comparisons to former Aggie standout Cashius Howell.

Up front, five-star lineman Albert Simien continues to speak glowingly about A&M's recruiting approach and family feel, a theme echoed by other top prospects considering January visits to College Station.

The Aggies aren't done, either. They're still swinging at elite defensive line talent - even a five-star Texas Tech commit - and multiple national recruits have mentioned A&M as a program they’re watching closely.

As Wilfong notes, when programs are truly trending, the buzz only matters if it turns into visits, momentum, and signatures, and right now, Texas A&M is stacking all three.
