The Aggies boast a good group of attacking weapons, but are they among the best in college football?
Texas A&M will be looking to build on what was a fruitful 2025 season as Mike Elko's team finished with an 11-2 overall record.
But to do that, the roster has to improve, and for most, offensively is where all the big strides could be made.
With Marcel Reed at quarterback, his group of weapons will be tasked with again being the driving force of this team in 2026, and when looking at who he has to throw to, it's quite a group.
With no KC Concepcion, who is now in the NFL, most of the offensive workload will fall on stud Mario Craver, which is fine because he is elite.
But it will be on the others around him to help ease that offensive burden. Just because he can do most of it by himself doesn't mean he should.
When looking at the Aggies' pass-catching weapons, how do they stack up against the best in college football?
CBS Sports' Blake Brockermeyer has ranked the top-10 groups entering the new college season, and the Aggies have landed at No. 6, ahead of Florida, Indiana, Alabama and Clemson.
"The Aggies return proven, high-end production in Mario Craver and Isaiah Horton, giving Texas A&M one of the SEC's better receiving duos and a passing game that took a significant step forward last season," Brockermeyer wrote.
"Ashton Bethel-Roman has the speed to stretch the field, but does most of his damage underneath and in the intermediate game. Terry Bussey is another explosive athlete expected to take on a larger role this season.
"TK Norman and Jerome Myles provide depth but enter the season with limited production. At tight end, Houston Thomas and Richie Anderson return the most experience in an almost entirely transfer-built room, while Micah Riley adds quality depth."
Craver was superb last season, posting 917 yards and 4 TDs, and Bethel-Roman (503 yards, 5 TDs) proved he could be a good No. 3 option, but now he'll likely be pushed up the depth chart for the Aggies.
Isaiah Horton looms as a wildcard, coming from Alabama, where he had 511 yards and 8 TDs last season, so the Aggies have three top-quality weapons at receiver.
The tight end room is a little unknown, with transfers Houston Thomas (347 yards, 2 TDs) and Richie Anderson (300 yards, 3 TDs) bringing some level of production from last season.
But the true driving force will be the receiver room, and you could put the Aggies up against most and feel good about your chances.
