The Texas A&M Aggies are basking in the glory of their greatest season in over three decades. They have won 11 straight games before losing the regular season finale to their arch-rival, the Texas Longhorns, in a 27-17 defeat.
The Aggies 11-game winning streak earned them a first-round home game vs. Miami in the College Football Playoff. But the excitement displayed by the 12th man immediately turned to dread as the Hurricanes forced three turnovers and stymied the Aggies offense in a 10-3 victory.
With that said, the Aggies have talented football players that will be taking their game to the next level. Four of their own have declared for the 2026 NFL Draft.
The draft is three months away, but we have already seen many mocks and player rankings put out by the media over the last month or so. The latest, put out by ESPN’s Field Yates, ranks his Top 25 players in this draft class, plus the position rankings. Four Aggies are listed among the top players at their positions.
Howell terrorized opposing offenses in the SEC on his way to winning the league’s Defensive Player of the Year. He also was named first-team All-SEC and was a finalist for both the Lombardi and Bednarik Awards.
Howell had 31 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, six pass breakups and one forced fumble. In a come-from-behind victory over South Carolina, Howell registered four tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack and three pass breakups. He is rated as the No. 5 EDGE in this draft class.
The best pass-blocker in the SEC, Zuhn won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy as the league’s top offensive lineman. He earned first-team All-SEC honors after posting a pass-blocking grade of 96.9 for the season, according to Pro Football Focus. Zuhn allowed just one sack and eight quarterback pressures in 382 snaps.
Bisontis earned a pass blocking grade of 70.6 for the 2025 season, according to Pro Football Focus. He allowed just one sack and only two quarterback hits. For his efforts, Bisontis earned third-team All-SEC accolades.
Concepcion came to the Aggies as a transfer from N.C. State. For the season, Concepcion hauled in 61 passes for 919 yards and nine touchdowns, and he averaged 15 yards per catch.
Concepcion showed off his versatility by scoring two touchdowns on punt returns and also scored a touchdown as a rusher. For his efforts, Concepcion won the Paul Hornung Award, given to the most versatile player in college football.
Against South Carolina, Concepcion posted a season-high 158 yards receiving on seven catches. Twice last season, Concepcion scored two receiving touchdowns in a game and was named first-team All-SEC.
The colors of the day at the NFL Draft will be maroon and white. Howell and Zuhn could attend the draft in person as two of the top players on stage. The others will hold watch parties among their families and friends. But all four could certainly be playing on Sundays next fall.
