The college football season has concluded with Fernando Mendoza and the Indiana Hoosiers getting the best of Miami in the national championship.
Now that the season is over, it is a lot easier to rank college football's best players, and that is exactly what Pro Football Focus has done.
PFF made the site's annual ranking of who they believe are the 101 best players in college football. Out of all of the teams that have players in the ranking, Texas A&M stands alone at the top with four on the list.
He ranked edge rusher Cashius Howell at No. 82, wide receivers KC Concepcion and Mario Craver at No. 76 and No. 67, and the team's highest ranked player is linebacker Taurean York at No. 62.
Concepcion and Craver both finished the season with over 900 receiving yards, as they were quarterback Marcel Reed's favorite targets. Concepcion also put up nine touchdowns that tied him for first in the SEC, and Craver also got into the endzone four times.
As for the defensive guys, both Howell and York made their impact felt in the team's 11-2 season.
Howell was second in the SEC in sacks with 11.5, as well as putting up 14 tackles for loss. He was also able to show his ability to wrap up ball carriers with 31 total tackles, which helped him be named All-American for the first time in his college career.
When it comes to York, he was ranked the highest out of all the Aggies for his versatility. He showed his tackling ability with 73 over the course of the season, 7.5 of which were for a loss.
But he was also able to show his ball hawk skills by defending some passes and recovering a fumble.
The season that Texas A&M had in 2025 did not end how the players and coaches might have wanted, but that does not mean that they should not be proud of what they were able to accomplish.
In just his second season as head coach, Mike Elko was able to lead the team to an 11-0 start, and eventually their first ever appearance in the College Football Playoff.
So even though they did not make it farther, the Aggies can be proud of their season, as well as having four players ranked in the top 101.
