Texas A&M football recruiting is heating up as four-star TE Jordan Karhoff names the Aggies in his final five and sets a June 5 official visit.

Texas A&M football recruiting is picking up serious momentum as Mike Elko opens spring practice with a loaded weekend of elite 2027 visitors and another major target moving closer to a decision.

Four-star tight end Jordan Karhoff, one of the top prospects in Ohio, has trimmed his recruitment to five programs, and the Aggies are still firmly in the fight.

Karhoff is the kind of prospect who can raise the ceiling of an offense. At 247Sports, he’s rated the No. 19 tight end in the country and the No. 15 overall player in Ohio, giving Texas A&M a real shot at adding another high-upside weapon to its future offense.

He’s scheduled to make his official visit to College Station on June 5, and that trip could be one of the most important recruiting dates of the summer for Elko and his staff.

The Aggies are battling Georgia, Miami, Virginia Tech, and Ohio State for Karhoff, which tells you everything you need to know about how valuable he is.

He’s not just a pass-catching tight end; Karhoff has also logged snaps at defensive end, showing the kind of toughness, versatility, and physical upside college staffs love.

Texas A&M hasn’t landed a tight end in the 2027 class yet, but the board is strong. The Aggies are also pushing for Ahmad Hudson, the nation’s top-ranked tight end, giving Elko multiple premium options at a position that can change the structure of an offense.

That’s why this recruitment feels bigger than one prospect.

With spring football underway, five-star names like Landen Williams-Callis and Mark Matthews on campus, and Karhoff’s official visit locked in, Texas A&M recruiting is entering a stretch that could shape the future of the Aggies’ offense in a major way.
