Texas A&M enters 2026 with several NFL Draft prospects to watch, led by Wilkin Formby, Anto Saka, Isaiah Horton and Dalton Brooks.
Texas A&M football could have one of the more fascinating 2027 NFL Draft watch lists in the SEC, and that’s exactly why the 2026 season carries so much weight in College Station.
The Aggies aren’t just chasing wins. They’re putting several high-upside veterans on film for NFL scouts, and the group has size, speed, SEC experience and transfer-portal intrigue all over it.
Aggies on SI's Dylan Fonville wrote that there are at least five current Aggies who could be playing beyond their college eligibility, and Wilkin Formby may be the headliner.
The former Alabama offensive lineman gives Texas A&M a massive 6-7 presence up front, and that alone will get evaluators leaning forward.
NFL teams are always hunting for tackles who can survive against elite edge rushers, and Formby will get a full SEC schedule to prove he’s more than just a big body.
If he anchors the Aggies’ offensive line and shows clean footwork against speed, the draft buzz could get loud fast.
Anto Saka is another name to circle. The Northwestern transfer brings pass-rush juice to a league that never has enough of it. Edge defenders who can bend, close and create chaos around the quarterback are premium draft currency.
Saka’s athletic profile makes him one of Texas A&M’s most intriguing defensive pieces, especially if his production spikes against SEC tackles.
On the outside, Isaiah Horton gives the Aggies a receiver with NFL traits. At 6-4 and roughly 200 pounds, the former Alabama wideout has the frame to win contested catches and become a red-zone problem.
Now comes the important part: targets, consistency and production. If Horton becomes Texas A&M’s go-to weapon, he could push himself into a much bigger national conversation.
Dalton Brooks may not need the transfer-portal spotlight to matter. He’s been developed inside the Texas A&M program and brings the kind of versatility modern defenses covet.
Safeties who can tackle, cover and move around the formation have real NFL value, and Brooks has a chance to show he’s more than a college playmaker.
Rickey Gibson III rounds out the group with serious SEC seasoning after transferring from Tennessee. Cornerback is always under the microscope, and Gibson’s man-coverage ability will be tested immediately.
