The Texas Longhorns have a bye week this week. They get two weeks to prepare for the Georgia Bulldogs.

Georgia still has to play this week against Mississippi State.

The Georgia game has likely long been a circled game for Texas since the schedule was posted for the Longhorns. Texas lost twice to Georgia including in the SEC title game.

Undoubtedly, Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and company will devote the bye week to Georgia prep, film review and new play installation.

Given how sharp Texas looked against Vanderbilt, is it fair to assume Sarkisian will have the answers to scoring on the Georgia defense? With only eight sacks for the season, Georgia will have to play better on defense to make Texas quarterback Arch Manning uncomfortable. If they don't, Sarkisian and company could have a big game.
