After exiting the game with a hand injury in the first quarter of today’s Texas win over Vanderbilt, star WR Ryan Wingo never returned. 

After the game, Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian gave a positive update. 

"I think in an emergency he could have went back in today," Sarkisian said. "So I don't think it's over … it's not going to be lost time. We'll see. I don't know."

While it sounds like there’s still some things are unclear, the early indication is that Wingo won’t miss any time. Texas has a bye week ahead, which helps.
