Dominant southpaw Luke Harrison and slugger Anthony Pack Jr. head to Taiwan this July, looking to secure gold for Team USA at the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship.
The Texas Longhorns will once again be well represented on the international stage.
Pitcher Luke Harrison and outfielder Anthony Pack Jr. earned spots on the 2026 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team on Sunday, securing places on the 28-man roster that will represent the United States at the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship in Taichung City, Taiwan, from July 11-15.
The roster was finalized after 11 days of practices and intrasquad scrimmages in North Carolina and Virginia.
For Texas, the announcement adds another chapter to a tradition that's been decades in the making.
Harrison and Pack became the 33rd and 34th Longhorns to earn Collegiate National Team honors, marking the ninth time two Texas teammates have been selected in the same year.
They now join a list of former Longhorns that includes Greg Swindell, Huston Street, Drew Stubbs, Corey Knebel, Max Belyeu, Aaron Nixon, Tanner Witt and C.J. Hinojosa — among many others.

But the duo didn't make the team simply because of the reputation their program carries.
Harrison was one of Team USA's most dominant pitchers throughout exhibition play. The 6-foot-2 southpaw led the club with 10 strikeouts while throwing 4 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and holding opponents to a .133 batting average.
Pack matched that production on the other side of the ball.
Fresh off an SEC Freshman of the Year campaign, the Texas outfielder led Team USA in RBI, triples and total bases while tying for the team lead in both home runs and stolen bases.
He also finished second in slugging percentage and tied for second in both hits and walks, continuing what's already been a memorable first year on the Forty Acres.
Texas initially had four players invited to USA Baseball's training camp after Harrison was added to join Sam Cozart, Pack and Dylan Volantis. When the final roster was announced, Harrison and Pack were the two Longhorns still standing.
Now, they'll have the opportunity to represent more than just Texas.
Beginning July 11, Harrison and Pack will wear red, white and blue as Team USA chases the inaugural World Collegiate Baseball Championship title.
Should the Americans bring home the tournament's first gold medal, the Longhorn pair will have played a role in another memorable chapter of the program's already rich USA Baseball history.
