Bijan Robinson delivers 122 yards, Anthony Hill Jr. shines on defense, and several former Texas Longhorns make an impact across the NFL in Week 7.
Former Texas Longhorns football stars experienced a little bit of everything during NFL Week 7, with Bijan Robinson continuing to produce for Atlanta, Anthony Hill Jr. emerging as a defensive force in Tennessee and Xavier Worthy enduring a frustrating Sunday night.
Robinson provided the most complete offensive performance among Texas alumni, helping the Falcons defeat the San Francisco 49ers 29-20.
The former Longhorns running back rushed 20 times for 63 yards and caught all five of his targets for another 59 yards. His 122 yards from scrimmage highlighted another versatile performance, even without a touchdown.
Robinson averaged just 3.2 yards per carry, but his receiving production helped compensate for a difficult afternoon finding running room. He's now accumulated 907 scrimmage yards and five touchdowns through seven games.
Meanwhile, Hill delivered one of the weekend's strongest defensive performances.
The Tennessee Titans linebacker registered 12 combined tackles, including five solo stops, and forced a fumble during a 27-24 loss to Cleveland.
Hill's production was a bright spot for a Tennessee defense that couldn't prevent the Browns from escaping with the victory.
In Green Bay, wide receiver Matthew Golden experienced a quieter afternoon following consecutive 100-yard performances.
Golden caught six passes for 39 yards on 12 targets as the Packers fell to Detroit 20-17. His involvement remained encouraging, but the lack of explosive plays represented a significant drop from his 104-yard, one-touchdown performance against Dallas the previous week.
Worthy endured an even tougher outing.
The Kansas City Chiefs receiver managed three receptions for just 11 yards on six targets in a surprising 20-3 loss to Seattle.
Worthy had caught seven passes for 73 yards against the Chargers one week earlier, making Sunday's limited production particularly disappointing.
Former Texas running back Roschon Johnson contributed 13 rushing yards on two carries in Chicago's 30-24 Thursday night victory over New England.
Defensively, Denver cornerback Jahdae Barron recorded five tackles but struggled in coverage during a 30-16 victory over Arizona. Barron was flagged twice for pass interference and allowed four completions for 41 yards on five targets.
Former Longhorns defensive tackle T'Vondre Sweat recorded two assisted tackles in the New York Jets' 28-25 loss to Miami.
Arizona return specialist Devin Duvernay contributed 55 yards on two kickoff returns against Denver.
The Texas contingent isn't finished with Week 7.
Philadelphia Eagles defenders Andrew Mukuba and Moro Ojomo, along with Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown, are scheduled to play Monday Night when the Eagles host the Cowboys.
For Texas fans, the weekend offered encouraging signs from Robinson and Hill, but also reminders that consistency remains a challenge for several former Longhorns establishing themselves in the NFL.
And with Dallas and Philadelphia still to play, there's another opportunity for Texas alumni to make an impact before Week 7 concludes.
