Texas linebacker Rasheem Biles signed an NIL deal with Panini after posting 183 tackles and 10.5 sacks at Pitt before his move to Austin.

Texas linebacker Rasheem Biles is already making noise in Austin, and this time it’s off the field.

Biles has signed an NIL deal with Panini, adding his name to a growing list of college football players partnering with the trading card giant.

For Texas fans, the move is another sign that Rasheem Biles is arriving in Austin with real momentum before ever playing a snap for the Longhorns.

The former Pitt standout joins a Panini group that already includes high-profile Texas quarterback Arch Manning, giving Biles even more visibility as expectations build for the 2026 season.

That attention didn’t come out of nowhere.

Before transferring to Texas, Biles put together a productive three-year run at Pittsburgh. He finished his Pitt career with 183 total tackles, 10.5 sacks and three interceptions, showing the kind of versatility that made him one of the more intriguing defensive names in the transfer portal.

His 2025 season was especially strong, as he posted career-best numbers in tackles, forced fumbles and touchdowns while also recording two interceptions.

Those numbers help explain why Texas sees him as an important addition for Steve Sarkisian’s defense.

The Longhorns are replacing major NFL-bound talent, including Michael Taaffe and Anthony Hill Jr., which creates a clear opening for Biles to make an immediate impact.

Texas doesn’t just need depth at linebacker. It needs a proven playmaker who can handle big moments against elite SEC competition.

That’s where Biles could become a major factor.

His production at Pitt suggests he has the experience and physicality to help stabilize the front seven, and now his new NIL deal has added another layer to his profile as he steps into a bigger spotlight.

If Biles carries his upward trajectory into Texas’ defense, this signing with Panini may end up being just the start of a much larger breakout in Austin.
