NFL star Russell Wilson toured Texas football facilities with his stepson Future, sharing a memorable Longhorns campus visit on social media.

The Texas Longhorns football program received an unexpected visitor recently in 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson.

Wilson shared a video on social media showing a personal trip to the University of Texas campus in Austin, where he took his stepson, Future, on his very first college campus visit.

The moment quickly grabbed attention online as the NFL veteran gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the Longhorns’ facilities while creating a memorable experience for the 11-year-old.

The visit included stops at Darrell K Royal–Texas Memorial Stadium, locker rooms, team meeting areas and several baseball facilities across campus.

As they pulled into Austin in the video, Wilson turned to Future and asked what he thought about the visit.

The response was instant enthusiasm.

“I love Texas, man. This school is great,” Future said while looking around campus. “Everything is bigger in Texas.”

Wilson laughed and responded with a familiar Texas rally cry: “Hook ’Em!”

During the visit, the pair also spent time with Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian, posing for photos and touring trophy displays inside the football complex.

Wilson later shared the moment on social media with the caption: “Hook ’Em! Fun time! Future’s first campus visit!”

The moment resonated with fans online, not just because of the celebrity appearance but also because of Wilson’s close relationship with his stepson.

Wilson married Ciara in 2016, and he has often spoken publicly about raising Future as his own. In 2025, Ciara officially added Wilson’s last name to Future’s name, a move many fans saw as a reflection of their tight family bond.

While Wilson’s future in the NFL remains uncertain, the quarterback isn’t stepping away from football yet.

The veteran signal-caller, who spent the 2025 season with the New York Giants, is currently a free agent but has indicated he plans to continue playing in 2026.

Whether he lands with a new team or not, one thing is clear.

Wilson is still making plays ... just this time, they’re happening off the field and alongside family.
