Texas baseball landed five SEC postseason honors, led by Anthony Pack Jr., Aiden Robbins, Dylan Volantis, Sam Cozart and Carson Tinney.
Texas baseball didn’t just enter the SEC. The Longhorns kicked the door open.
No. 5 Texas stacked up postseason recognition Monday, with Anthony Pack Jr. and Aiden Robbins headlining the Longhorns’ haul.

Pack was named SEC Freshman of the Year, while Robbins became Texas’ first-ever SEC Newcomer of the Year.
Pack’s freshman season has been ridiculous. The outfielder hit .400 in SEC play, becoming the first freshman to do that in league action since Jake Mangum in 2016.
He also led qualifying SEC hitters with a .511 on-base percentage, while adding 44 hits, 10 doubles, 12 stolen bases and a 1.111 OPS in conference games.
Overall, Pack is batting .360 with seven homers, 45 RBI and 20 steals. That’s the most stolen bases by a Texas freshman since Drew Stubbs swiped 28 in 2004.
Robbins brought instant thunder after transferring from Seton Hall. The outfielder is slashing .348/.435/.697 with 19 home runs and 53 RBI. His 19 bombs are tied for sixth in a single season at Texas, matching Brooks Kieschnick, Kyle Russell and Murphy Stehly.
The arms got love, too.
Left-hander Dylan Volantis earned First-Team All-SEC honors after going 8-1 with a league-best 2.05 ERA and 105 strikeouts. Freshman closer Sam Cozart also made the first team after posting a 6-0 record, 1.59 ERA, eight saves and 66 strikeouts.
Then there’s Carson Tinney, who landed on the All-SEC Second Team after blasting a team-high 20 homers with a 1.168 OPS, .321 average and 54 RBI.
For Texas, this wasn’t just a list of awards. It was proof the Longhorns are already built for SEC baseball chaos — and they’re thriving in it.
