Texas linabcker Anthony Hill Jr. will be quite busy in the lead-up to the NFL Draft.
Texas Longhorns star linebacker Anthony Hill Jr. made a name for himself in college, and now he's looking to take his talents to the NFL.
A star for the Longhorns over his three-year college career, Hill Jr. posted 17.0 sacks, 31.5 tackles for loss, and three interceptions to be one of the premier linebackers in college football.
As the scouting combine has now come and gone, NFL teams are busying filling up their 30 visit slots, and as you can imagine, Hill Jr. is on a lot of teams' visit lists.
The latest is the Minnesota Vikings, who, per Cody Carpentier, are set to host Hill Jr. as Brian Flores' defense looks to add another premier linebacker to its stout unit.
Other teams interested in Hill Jr., per Carpentier, are the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and the New York Giants. So Hill Jr. won't have a shortage of suitors in the draft, and the Cowboys' having him for a visit is telling.
We know that Christian Parker's defense needs a stud linebacker to pair with DeMarvion Overshown. We have seen that Georgia's CJ Allen has been mentioned at No. 20, but what about Hill Jr.?
He possesses all the traits that Parker wants in a linebacker.
A true three-down linebacker who excels in both positions (WILL and MIKE), while being a heat-seeking missile when given the chance.
Oh, and he can rush the passer as well.
And while all of those traits are what Dallas is looking for, you can make the case that every NFL defense will be after Hill Jr.
With Hill Jr. expected to be a first-round or early second-round pick, many don't believe he will last too long on the draft board.
A high-energy playmaker, Hill Jr. has all the traits to become a star in the NFL.
Of course, nothing is a given, but the stud linebacker could be a welcome addition to any number of NFL defenses in 2026.
The Vikings are hosting him, as are the Cowboys and others.
So Hill Jr. is a hot commodity, and we imagine his draft stock will only continue to rise as the draft edges closer.
