Young, a stud for the Longhorns, was a high draft pick who never really fulfilled his talent in the NFL, and now we get to see his story.
It appears we are going to get a peek behind the curtain of former Texas Longhorn Vince Young and his career in college and the NFL.
The two-time Pro Bowler is set to feature on "Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young'' as part of a three-part series on Netflix that also features Rachael “Raygun” Gunn and icon Mr. T.
The documentary will reportedly start at the end of Young's win in the Rose Bowl over USC and follow his rookie season in 2026, when he was drafted at No. 3 overall by the Tennessee Titans.
Young was a star at Texas, being an All-American and Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year in 2005.
In his three college seasons with the Longhorns, Young posted 6,040 passing yards, 44 TDs and 28 interceptions, with his crowning moment being that he led the Longhorns to a Rose Bowl win over USC in his final college season.
It was then onto the NFL for Young, and he didn't exactly hit the heights many expected. The documentary explores everything that went down in his career.

"Untold: The Testimony of Vince Young is a raw and emotional journey of fumbles, failures, and finding freedom."
In Young's first NFL season, it looked like he was on the path to superstardom, posting an 8-5 record, throwing for 2,199 yards, 12 TDs, and 13 interceptions from 15 games as he won Offensive Rookie of the Year along with being nominated to the Pro Bowl.
The following season, Young managed a 9-6 record and led the Titans to the playoffs, but they were one-and-done.
It seemed like Young was about to put the Titans on the map. But in 2008, after an MCL injury and a mental health scare, he would only play three games for the entire season.
In 2009, he was back as the starter, had an 8-2 record from 10 games as he earned his second Pro Bowl, but it was clear he wasn't the same player.
In the next two seasons, Young would only play a combined 11 games before being out of the league in 2011.
A promising career that only lasted six seasons, and now with Netflix's documentary, Texas and football fans will get an inside look into Young early, and short, football career.
