The Tennessee Titans moved back into Round 2 to select Texas linebacker Anthony Hill with the No. 60 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Tennessee Titans didn’t wait around once Anthony Hill started sliding.

Tennessee traded back into the second round Saturday to select the Texas Longhorns linebacker with the No. 60 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, giving the Titans one of the most productive defenders left on the board.

Hill became the first Texas player selected in this year’s draft, and the Titans clearly believed the value was too good to pass up.

After previously moving their second-rounder to climb into Round 1 for Keldric Faulk, Tennessee sent a third-round pick and one of its fifth-round selections to acquire No. 60.

For the Titans, Hill brings immediate toughness and playmaking ability to the middle of the defense. At 6-foot-2 and 238 pounds, he was one of the anchors of Steve Sarkisian’s Texas teams and helped lead the Longhorns to back-to-back College Football Playoff appearances.

Hill arrived in Austin as an early enrollee in 2023 and quickly forced his way onto the field.

He played in 14 games as a freshman, made six starts, then remained a fixture in the lineup over the next two seasons.

His 2025 season was the best of his college career. Hill totaled 69 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions, earning Second-Team All-America honors.

He was also named a finalist for the Butkus Award and a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award.

Across 40 games at Texas, the Denton Ryan product piled up 249 tackles, 17 sacks and seven pass breakups.

That resume explains why Tennessee was willing to give up extra draft capital to get him.

Hill leaves Texas as one of the program’s most impactful linebackers in recent memory. Now, he heads to Nashville with a chance to become a tone-setter for the Titans’ defense.
