The Longhorns are back in the Sweet 16 for the third-straight season after a resounding 100-58 victory over Oregon.

Texas welcomed Oregon into Austin's Moody Center for an NCAA Tournament Second Round showdown on Sunday. The Longhorns survived an early battle before clipping the high-flying Ducks 100-58 to punch their ticket to the Sweet 16 in Fort Worth.

After leading by only seven after the first quarter, Texas clamped down and outscored Oregon 72-37 the rest of the afternoon.

Junior forward Madison Booker went nuclear for the Horns. She had an eye-popping 40 points on 14-of-21 shooting alongside eight rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Outside of Booker, every Longhorn in the lineup recorded at least one point and two others broke into double figures, Jordan Lee and Teya Sidberry.

For Oregon, Katie Fiso and Ehis Ehute led the Ducks with 16 and 11 points, respectively.

Serving as a top-seed in a regional for the third-straight year, Texas is out to finally capture the ever-so elusive National Championship.

The Longhorns fell just short of a national title appearance last season after being ousted by South Carolina in the Final Four.

This season Texas has already taken care of the Gamecocks twice, including in the SEC Tournament Championship.

Under sixth-year head coach Vic Schaefer, Texas has made four trips to the Elite 8 with a chance at five after Sunday's win.

The Longhorns make the short upstate trek to Fort Worth on Saturday, where they await the winner of Monday's 4-5 clash between West Virginia and Kentucky on the court at Dickies Arena.
