ESPN projects an elite offensive overhaul in Las Vegas, pairing the prolific Texas wideout with high-end young talent to build a championship-caliber foundation for the Raiders' future.

ESPN recently released an early 2027 mock draft that sees four Texas Longhorns taken in the top half of the first round.

QB Arch Manning is a highlighted guy, of course, as he'll be asked to be "the face of the franchise'' somewhere. (In this mock, he goes to the Arizona Cardinals, and good luck with that!)

But beyond maybe the biggest name in college football making his long-awaited leap into the pros, there is another top-five pick waiting to blossom in Austin.

And maybe Cam Coleman - even though he, too, will be joining a bad program - can fare better, faster, than Arch.

ESPN pegs wide receiver Cam Coleman to go in Round 1, at pick No. 5, to the Las Vegas Raiders.

In this projection, Coleman would join 2026 No. 1 overall pick quarterback Fernando Mendoza and 2025 first-round running back Ashton Jeanty to create a formidable offensive foundation. ... a set of "Triplets,'' one might say.

"Coleman excelled in two seasons at Auburn despite inconsistent QB play, finishing last season with 56 catches for 708 receiving yards and five touchdowns," ESPN said. "Transferring to Texas and pairing up with Manning could unlock even more production, as he's a sure-handed target with good hands."

One-and-done can work out fine for Cam in Manning will have his best target as a Longhorn for this season in highly-rated Auburn transfer Cam Coleman.

And then? Cam is mocked to be the second wide receiver off the 2027 board behind Ohio State star Jeremiah Smith.
