Sitting in the No. 4 seed of the College Football Playoff and on an over three-week break, Texas Tech is met by No. 5 Oregon, who put up a 50 burger on James Madison to advance to the historic Capital One Orange Bowl QFs of the new 12-team bracket.
Hard Rock Stadium in Miami is the site for a pivotal point in each of these's teams' histories - Tech looks to add another "first" to their impressive resume as a breakout power at the national level, while Oregon looks to avenge it's upset loss as the bracket's top seed in 2024.
