Jackie Lis belts two homers, Kaitlyn Terry stays unbeaten and Mia Williams keeps rolling as Texas Tech softball rolls to 18-1.

No. 2 Texas Tech softball keeps flexing its muscle - and Friday night in Lubbock was another loud reminder why the Red Raiders are a national title contender.

Behind a relentless offense and steady pitching from Kaitlyn Terry, Texas Tech stormed past North Texas 10-2 in five innings.

The Red Raiders improved to 18-1 on the season, overwhelming the Mean Green with patience at the plate and thunder in the middle of the lineup.

Jackie Lis delivered the fireworks. The slugger launched her first two home runs of the season, including a three-run blast that broke the game open early.

Lis finished 2-for-3 with four RBI, igniting a Texas Tech offense that forced North Texas to burn through 134 pitches.

Head coach Gerry Glasco has emphasized plate discipline all season, and the Red Raiders made it look surgical.

Mihyia Davis was electric at the top of the order, going 3-for-4 to raise her batting average to .500 while swiping three bases. Her speed set the tone, and her aggressive base running rattled the defense all night.

In the circle, Kaitlyn Terry remained untouchable. The right-hander moved to 7-0, allowing just one earned run over five innings while striking out key hitters in pressure spots.

She even contributed offensively, reaching base three times, scoring twice and stealing her fourth bag of the year.

Mia Williams slammed the door in style. After North Texas trimmed the deficit slightly, Williams crushed her sixth home run of the season - a two-run shot that ended the game instantly via run rule.

She finished 2-for-4 with three RBI, putting the exclamation point on a dominant performance.

Texas Tech softball is winning with power, speed and discipline - a dangerous combination. The Red Raiders return Saturday with two more opportunities to keep their momentum surging in Lubbock.
