Texas Tech OLB Romello Height was pivotal in the Red Raiders' Big 12 Championship run and several NFL teams are looking to add him next season.

One of the core pieces of the Texas Tech Red Raiders disruptive defense during the 2025 season was edge rusher Romello Height.

The one-year transfer starter from Georgia Tech helped turn Texas Tech into a lethal force throughout their Big 12 Championship season.

The All-Big 12 First Team selection recorded 38 total tackles, with 11 resulting in a loss of 71 yards, 9.5 sacks for 65 yards and two forced fumbles with one recovery.

Unfortunately, Texas Tech will be without Height next season, as he turns his focus to the upcoming NFL Draft.

While his presence will be missed on the defensive front, the former Red Raiders standout looks primed to bring his talents to the next level.

According to reports, Height has locked in top-30 visits with seven prospective NFL squads. For those that cheer for the Red Raiders and the Cowboys, you're in for good news - Dallas is listed as one of those teams hosting Height.

Outside of the in-state connection, there are several other high-level teams that are expressing their interest him.

The full list of teams is reported to be the San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots.

Of these seven franchises, three made the postseason last year, including the Super Bowl runner-up Pats. Additionally, all but one have clinched a playoff spot within the last four seasons.

Height was a projected Day 1 to Day 2 pick entering the NFL Draft process and seemed to solidify his stock following a stop at the NFL Combine.

During the pre-draft showcase, he put up a 4.64 40-yard dash time and a 39-inch vertical jump to showcase his athletic edge.

Most mock drafts slide Height somewhere within Round 3 of the draft in the latest projections. But with so much interest swirling around the league, it is possible he could sneak his way higher in the order.

For those unfamiliar, a top-30 visit is an official visit for a prospect to one of the 32 teams in the NFL and, as the name suggests, each team is limited to only 30 visits for their most serious of potential draftees.

For these teams to use a valuable top-30 slot on Height, it shows the true interest that lies in adding him to their roster.

Although the list is already long, there's still time for the rest of the 32 teams to secure a meeting with Height ahead of the April deadline.

While there's several potential suitors, Height will find his true new home between April 23-25 in Pittsburgh when the NFL Draft officially gets underway.
