Red Raiders shine for NFL scouts. Discover where top prospects David Bailey, Jacob Rodriguez, and Romello Height will hear their names called in the draft.

The best of Texas Tech was on full display last Thursday, as the program welcomed scouts from across the NFL to Lubbock for the team's Pro Day.

Several highly touted Red Raiders worked and showcased their skills in front of representatives from all 32 of the league's teams.

While every team was in attendance, four franchises had their head coaches in attendance to take in everything that Texas Tech has to offer next month in Pittsburgh.

And maybe their top focus was on a trio of Red Raiders.

Those four coaches were Dallas Cowboys' Brian Schottenheimer, New Orleans Saints' Kellen Moore, New York Jets' Aaron Glenn and Cincinnati Bengals' Zac Taylor.

Those three players?

Edge rusher David Bailey continued to showcase his talents, as he makes a bid for a potential top-five overall pick.

And then there is star linebacker Jacob Rodriguez, who added fuel to his case as a riser in the selection process.

And one more guy, edge rusher Romello Height, is in play as a premium pick.

Now, where are those three projected to go in the NFL Draft?

As we mentioned, Bailey seems like a top-five pick, and could zoom all the way up to Glenn's Jets in the No. 2 slot.

Meanwhile, while we hear buzz about Rodriguez being "Zach Thomas-like'' and having lifted himself to being a late first-rounder, ESPN's latest mock draft places him with the Bears at pick No. 57 of Round 2.

And Height? Again, he could be a second-rounder in the eyes of some, but SI projects him to the Colts in Round 4 at pick No. 113.

Outside of the heavily scouted prospects, Texas Tech had a few under-the-radar guys highlight their skills. Standout safety Cole Wisniewski, linebacker Bryce Ramirez, quarterback Behren Morton and wideout Reggie Virgil could all be in play here.

Texas Tech has sent countless Red Raiders into the NFL over the years, with the group highlighted by current league sensation and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes II, who was back at his alma mater with the team Thursday.

However, it has been a long time (maybe ever?) since the program has put forth this many prospects who could make a serious impact on rosters throughout the professional stage.

Head coach Joey McGuire and company can be proud of not only the Big 12 Championship last year, but of the numerous players their staff helped develop into potential forces on Sundays.

McGuire and Texas Tech are sure to be cheering on all their prospects when the NFL Draft gets underway on April 23-25.
