Texas Tech Pro Day Attracts All 32 NFL Teams cover image

Texas Tech football turned heads at Pro Day as all 32 NFL teams scouted Red Raiders, with Bryce Ramirez and Cole Wisniewski posting strong numbers.

Texas Tech football put the NFL on notice Thursday. At Texas Tech Pro Day, every one of the league’s 32 teams sent representatives to Lubbock, where scouts, coaches and front office executives packed the Womble Football Center to evaluate 19 draft prospects ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft.

That kind of turnout says a lot about the talent in this year’s Red Raiders class.

The star power off the field was just as notable. Dallas Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer, Saints coach Kellen Moore, Jets coach Aaron Glenn and Bengals coach Zac Taylor were all in attendance, along with general managers like Dan Morgan, Brian Gutekunst and Darren Mougey. When that many decision-makers show up in one building, it’s clear Texas Tech has serious NFL interest.

A big reason is the depth of the group.

Players like David Bailey, Caleb Douglas, Skyler Gill-Howard, Romello Height, Lee Hunter, Behren Morton, Jacob Rodriguez and Reggie Virgil had already boosted their stock at the NFL Scouting Combine, so they focused more on position work in Lubbock than full testing.

Others made the most of the spotlight.

Bryce Ramirez delivered one of the day’s best performances, posting a 38.5-inch vertical and 31 bench press reps, numbers that should get plenty of attention from teams looking for toughness and explosiveness at linebacker. Cole Wisniewski also impressed despite being less than full strength, recording a 36.5-inch vertical and a 10-foot-2 broad jump.

Texas Tech coach Joey McGuire used the moment to sell more than measurables. He made the case that Red Raiders bring professionalism, work ethic and a love for football that NFL teams value late in the draft and beyond.

With the 2026 NFL Draft set for April 23-25 in Pittsburgh, Texas Tech’s Pro Day made one thing clear ... this program has multiple players firmly on the league’s radar.
