Jackie Lis delivered the biggest swing of the afternoon, driving in five runs while going 2-for-4.
She opened the scoring with a two-out, two-run single in the second, then ripped another two-run single during Texas Tech’s massive third inning. By the time Lis added an RBI groundout in the fourth, the Rebels were buried.
The Red Raiders improved to 55-6, setting a program record for wins in a season. They also stayed perfect in NCAA Regional games in Lubbock at 6-0 and gave head coach Gerry Glasco another postseason milestone.
Glasco is now 12-2 in postseason play at Texas Tech, making him the winningest postseason coach in program history.
Mihyia Davis kept the pressure coming from the top of the order. She went 3-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored, while also setting Texas Tech’s single-season stolen base record with 37.
Mia Williams, Kaitlyn Terry, Jasmyn Burns and Taylor Pannell all helped fuel a lineup that overwhelmed Ole Miss from the third inning on.

Terry handled the circle, too. The left-hander improved to 24-1 after allowing two runs on two hits with three strikeouts in four innings. NiJaree Canady added a pinch-hit two-run double in the fifth before closing the game with a scoreless inning and two strikeouts.
Now comes a heavyweight test. Texas Tech will travel to face No. 6 overall seed Florida in the NCAA Super Regional with a Women’s College World Series berth on the line.
