Texas Tech softball lands four Softball America All-Americans as NiJaree Canady and Kaitlyn Terry lead a historic Red Raiders group.

Texas Tech softball isn’t just making noise anymore. The Red Raiders are smashing through program history.

Softball America named four Texas Tech stars as All-Americans, with NiJaree Canady and Kaitlyn Terry earning first-team honors and Mia Williams and Mihyia Davis landing on the second team.

It marks the first time Texas Tech has had multiple All-Americans in the same season from any publication, and it comes right as the Red Raiders head into an NCAA Super Regional showdown with No. 6 Florida.

That’s some serious timing.

Canady continues to be one of the most feared arms in college softball. She’s 23-5 with a 1.42 ERA and 215 strikeouts over 152.1 innings, adding another first-team All-America nod to a résumé that already looks ridiculous. This is her third straight season earning first-team recognition.

Terry has been just as dangerous because she’s doing damage everywhere. She owns a 1.39 ERA in the circle, has struck out 152 hitters and is also hitting .470 with 10 home runs and 55 RBI. That’s not a two-way player. That’s a weekly problem for opponents.

Williams has turned the batter’s box into a demolition site. She’s hitting .435 with 22 home runs, 77 RBI, 83 runs and 167 total bases — all single-season Texas Tech records. Every time she steps in, the scoreboard feels like it’s in danger.

Davis brings a different kind of chaos. She’s batting .440 with 88 hits, 14 doubles, nine homers and a program-record 37 stolen bases. Power, contact, speed — she’s been a nightmare to defend.

For Texas Tech, this isn’t just award-season decoration. It’s proof that this roster has become one of the most explosive groups in the country.

Now comes the bigger stage.

The Red Raiders face Florida in their second NCAA Super Regional appearance, starting Friday at 10 a.m. CT. With four All-Americans leading the charge, Texas Tech isn’t arriving as a cute story.

It’s arriving as a threat.
