Texas Tech had the week off, but the Red Raiders were still able to move up to No. 10 in the latest AP Top 25. Will Texas Tech be able to prove it belongs in the top 10 against Arizona State?

LUBBOCK - The weekend's biggest winner in college football might just be Texas Tech, as the Red Raiders got to rest up while the rest of the sport ran rampant with chaos.

Not only was the team safe from ruining its perfect record, it got to benefit from the misfortunes of other teams across the nation, including one of its former rivals.

In the latest update to the Associated Press Top 25 Poll that was released on Sunday afternoon, Texas Tech finally broke through the top 10 barrier and slotted in at No. 10.

After spending most of last year within the exclusive class of college football, the Red Raiders were able to make their debut following weeks of being right on the cusp.
