The Green Wave has dropped its last two games in lopsided fashion and is searching for some key wins to end the regular season.

If there was ever a time for the Tulane Green Wave men's basketball program to win a game, it's right now.

The Green Wave has faced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows this season, and with only two games remaining until the American Conference Tournament, the team desperately needs to find some momentum. Tulane has dropped its previous two contests against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane and the South Florida Bulls -- losing by 34 and 28 points in the matchups, respectively -- and looked largely uncompetitive on both sides of the floor in the games.

Now, the Green Wave is gearing up for its final road game of the season against the Temple Owls. It's a team that the Sky Blue and Olive Green already took down once this season, with a 77-66 victory back on February 11th in Uptown. Temple managed to keep that game close through the first half, but Tulane exploded out of the locker room to take a commanding lead in the second half and never look back.

That second half proved to be one of the rare times this season that just about everything has gone right for the Uptown boys. The Green Wave shot a stellar 68.4-percent from the field in that frame and out-rebounded the Owls 19 to 11. Can that success carry over into Thursday night's game between the two programs?

It's going to take a total reset from the last week of hardwood action for Tulane to come out and repeat that win from just under a month ago. Curtis Williams Jr. has been the lone standout for the program with a combined 43 points through two games; meanwhile, team leaders Rowan Brumbaugh and Asher Woods have had some struggles. It's time for what some might call a "get-right game."

On top of all of this, there are still plenty of opportunities left for some shakeups in the league tournament. The Green Wave can't move into a top four spot at this point, but it shouldn't fall out of the conference's top 10 teams completely. Wins in the next two games could push Tulane as high as the tournament's fifth seed, or drop them all the way down to the 10th seed -- especially because both of the Green Wave's upcoming opponents are 7-9 and on the fringe of missing the tournament.

Tulane and Temple will tip off at 6 p.m. CT on Thursday night from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia.
