The Green Wave will face South Alabama on the road before welcoming Lamar to Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.

Though college baseball season is roughly four months away, programs across the country are gearing up for the season through fall scrimmage games.

That includes the Tulane Green Wave, as the team is preparing for a weekend of exhibition games both at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium and on the road. The program is looking to bounce back from a 2026 campaign in which it went 25-31 overall and missed the American Conference Tournament.

Tulane begins its weekend on the diamond in a fall match against the South Alabama Jaguars in Mobile. That game is set to begin at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday. The Green Wave then makes a quick journey back home to face the Lamar Cardinals at 2 p.m. CT on Sunday. Fans are encouraged to watch the home exhibition, which is expected to last between nine and 11 innings, depending on pitching staff availability and workload. Admission is free.

The Sluggerbirds and Jaguars squared off early in the 2026 season, with Tulane claiming a dominant 15-2 run-rule victory. South Alabama would go on to put together a 34-23 season, including a 17-13 mark in the Sun Belt Conference.
