The Green Wave has added three more players to the Class of 2027 over the past few days.
The Tulane Green Wave has not slowed down one bit when it comes to recruiting, as more high school standouts continue to announce their commitments to the program.
Over the past few days, Tulane has picked up three impressive commitments from the Class of 2027, including one three-star player. Here's a look at the recent additions to Uptown and what they bring to the table.
LB Gus Faulkner
Faulkner is a three-star recruit according to Rivals and is one of the top linebackers in the state of Alabama. The rising senior out of Fairhope High School had seven total offers and dropped his commitment to the South Alabama Jaguars ahead of committing to the Olive Green and Sky Blue.
At 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds, Faulkner is a versatile threat with plenty of upside. He finished his junior season with 121 tackles, nine tackles-for-loss, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one interception and one touchdown.
RB Jaden Terrance
Terrance is a homegrown talent from Archbishop Rummel High School in Metarie, and he is an exceptional athlete. Though he primarily plays as a running back, he recorded roughly 1,600 all-purpose yards and 17 touchdowns in 2025, showing his versatility all over the field.
The rising senior held offers from the Arkansas State Red Wolves, UNLV Rebels and others. Terrance will look to bring his explosive abilities on offense to Yulman Stadium.
WR Ja'ir Burks
Burks is another Tulane addition who won't have to travel far to arrive in Uptown. The wideout from Jesuit has been making his mark in New Orleans for years, and now, he'll have the chance to continue to show out in front of a hometown crowd.
As a junior, Burks recorded 34 receptions for 615 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He also boasted offers from a wide array of programs, including the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and Troy Trojans.
As it stands now, the Green Wave has a pretty loaded locker room from the Class of 2027. The program currently has 16 commits, including one quarterback, three running backs, two wide receivers, one tight end, three offensive linemen, four defensive backs and one defensive lineman.
If recent social media posts from members of Tulane's coaching staff indicate anything, it's that the Green Wave's recruiting success is far from over.
It's a great sign of things to come for the program, and as successful players keep entering the program, the Green Wave will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
