Tulane Athletics unveiled The Neutral Ground, a new premium seating experience debuting at Yulman Stadium for the 2026 Green Wave football season.

The Tulane Green Wave are looking for ways to enhance their game day experience at Yulman Stadium as a premier Group of 6 school.

The latest improvements to be unveiled is a brand-new premium seating experience set to debut for the 2026 season, The Neutral Ground.

Tulane Athletics bills it as an intimate and immersive gameday college football experience.

The fans will sit in boxes placed just steps from the action with unparalleled sightlines.

The Neutral Ground will be a set of four newly constructed loge boxes that will each contain five premium seats with counter space positioned at the front mere feet from the field.

The rear lounge setup will feature soft seating, side beverage and food tables and ice chests with additional guest seating available.

Should fans purchase multiple boxes, they can be combined into larger spaces with movable dividers.

The boxes will feature premium amenities as well, as multiple televisions will be put in the space to allow for in-game action and instant replays to be watched.

Fans can also pre-order and receive in-seat food and beverage services with overhead shade coverage for the lounge seating, all but a necessity in New Orleans in the months of September October in the heat.

That will also be bolstered by circulating fans which are looking to ensure comfort with temperatures raising, and the whole thing will be designed to blend an elevated level of luxury with gameday comfort that’s practical.

In a statement released by Tulane Athletics, Ben Weiner, Director of Athletics Chair David Harris called The Neutral Ground a continued commitment to bettering the fan experience at Yulman Stadium.

Harris spoke of the combination of on-field energy with comfort and amenities and calls the space "a truly unique way to experience Tulane Football,” and framed the launch as a part of a broader strategy to enhance the stadium.

Now, it is certainly a scarce resource with only four boxes making space and availability extremely limited. However, for fans that are looking for an elevated and customizable gameday experience, The Neutral Ground will be perfect for them.

Since it was built in 2014, Yulman Stadium has completely transformed the fan connection with Green Wave football.

It has also coincided with a rise in the program’s football status since 2022, but it built a critical bridge that allowed that connection to really flourish when things moved from the Super Dome.

Every improvement that goes towards bolstering that experience is essential.
