Rich Wallace continues a pitcher-heavy recruiting cycle, securing former Tar Heel Riley Leatherman to bolster the Knights’ rotation as the roster overhaul intensifies before the June deadline.
The UCF Knights have had a pitcher-heavy approach in June's transfer portal cycle, as they added North Carolina right-handed pitcher Riley Leatherman.
Leatherman is a young pitcher, who redshirted his freshman season with the Tar Heels in 2025. He only pitched one inning this season on Feb. 27 against Le Moyne. There could be some untapped potential coach Rich Wallace and his pitching staff can unlock.
The transfer portal will remain open until June 30, and the transfer portal tracker will monitor every player departure or addition.
